Crysta and Fred were wed in a beautiful ceremony at Star Hill Ranch, and Grey to Blue Photography was there to capture it. DJ Nick rocked the dance floor all night, keeping guests up and out of their chairs from start to sendoff. The couple also used our vibrant uplights to add a festive atmosphere to the hall.
From Star Hill Ranch’s site:
“Star Hill Ranch is a re-creation of a Texas Hill Country community typical of the early 1900s. All of the buildings have been relocated from around the state and carefully restored. Star Hill is centered around the historic Pontotoc Chapel, which has hosted hundreds of public worship services and weddings since it opened there in 2004.
Star Hill Ranch began as a childhood dream of owner/creator Adam Woolley, and was inspired by visits to the early German immigrant settlement of Industry, Texas located near Brenham.
It is the culmination of years of planning, renovating, and learning, and continues to be a repository for preservation of historic structures. In essence, it offers an opportunity to honor our heritage while creating a variety of wonderful new experiences and memories.
Star Hill Ranch is one of Austin’s most unique settings for church services, weddings and other special events. Centered along a historic main street and surrounded by panoramic Hill Country views, Star Hill is located just 25 minutes west of downtown Austin in the community of Bee Cave.
Facilities include The Little Chapel (smaller historic chapel), Reception/Banquet Hall, Bride’s/VIP Suite, Groom’s Quarters/Cantina, Outdoor Arbor & Pavilion, Biergarten, Main Street/Plaza, and Catering Kitchen, as well as Fitzhugh Chapel/Hall (larger chapel) and Guest Cottage, which may be added on for your event depending on your needs and overall guest count.”
